Accessibility statement
Conformance status
Origin conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
The statement covers the Origin learning platform on the web (the learner, teacher and admin views) and originlms.com.
What it means for learners
Pages work with a keyboard, with screen readers and when zoomed, as WCAG 2.1 AA requires. Origin also has features that make lessons easier to follow:
- Any lesson can get a quick-read or easy-read version, approved by the teacher.
- A lesson can get a voice-over in Swedish or English.
- The interface is available in 11 languages.
- Course building works by mouse, touch or keyboard.
- Origin runs on any phone or laptop, with native apps for iOS and Android.
For public organisations
Swedish public organisations must meet WCAG 2.1 AA under the DOS law (lag (2018:1937) om tillgänglighet till digital offentlig service) and publish an accessibility statement for their own digital services.
If you use Origin, you can refer to this statement for the platform. Material you add yourself, such as uploaded documents and videos, belongs in your own statement.
Report a problem
If something in Origin is hard to use with your setup, tell us: call +46 76 426 26 60 (Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 CET) or write to us through the help center.
It helps to know the page, what you tried to do, and which assistive technology you use, if any.
