Why teams choose Origin — and when they shouldn't
The case for Origin in plain terms: what genuinely sets it apart, where it is the wrong fit, and how it compares to the alternatives.
Retention you can prove
Most learning platforms stop at the completion click, which is exactly where forgetting begins. Munin, Origin's retention engine (named for Odin's raven of memory), keeps going: short reviews after the course, timed to the moment each skill starts to fade, until the knowledge has graduated. That is why Origin can show you what a team remembers, not just who finished.

Your team signs in to your portal: your logo, your colors, your domain, and certificates issued under your name. Origin stays out of sight, so the training reads as yours, and for groups every location trains under the same identity.

Origin delivers official IBA certification online, in partnership with the International Bartenders Association. For bars, hotels, and venue groups, that means staff earn a credential their industry recognizes, from inside your own portal.
About IBA certificationBuilt in Stockholm, in two languages
Origin is built by a small team in Stockholm and works in English and Swedish alike. When you have a question, you talk to the people who make the product, in whichever of the two languages your organization runs on.

An honest list. If one of these describes you, we would rather say so here than in a demo.
- You want a big off-the-shelf course library. Origin builds training from your own material; it does not sell a marketplace of ready-made courses. If buying content is the main need, a catalog platform fits better.
- You need a free tool. Origin is a paid platform, sold through a demo and set up together with you. For a zero-budget project, a lightweight free tool is the honest answer.
- Completion is all you need. If a completion record genuinely satisfies your requirements, a simpler LMS will do it for less. Origin earns its keep after the course ends; if that part does not matter to you, neither will Origin.

The comparison pages put Origin next to the alternatives, point by point. They are written to be useful even if you end up choosing someone else.
