THE PROBLEM NOBODY'S LMS SOLVES
The training ends. Everyone goes silent.
70% of training is forgotten within 24 hours. Day-one training is gone by day seven — not because the teaching was bad, but because human memory decays when nothing intervenes. Every other platform stops at the completion click. Munin starts there.
each catch = a 3-minute micro-review, timed just before the skill fades
THE ENGINE
Meet Munin.
Named for Odin's raven of memory. Munin is a default-on retention engine: it tracks knowledge strength per person, per skill, per day — and schedules a short micro-review right before a skill would fade. Reviews fit real life: before service, between covers, on the bus home.
Not a feature. Not a toggle. The reason the platform exists.
The result is a dashboard that reflects genuine knowledge, not completion clicks — with an audit-ready export that proves it.
In the field: Munin is being implemented across Swedish adult education, and state-run universities are integrating it.
HOW IT WORKS
Built on the science of memory.
A forgetting curve per learner, per skill
Built on FSRS — the state-of-the-art open model of memory decay. Every learner × skill pair gets its own curve and review date. Critical skills like safety and allergens are capped at tighter intervals.
Default-on, not a checkbox
Retention runs for every learner automatically. Where competitors offer spaced repetition at all, it ships as an opt-in toggle — which means, in practice, it mostly stays off.
Graduation keeps it honest
A durably mastered skill stops being drilled and is only re-audited occasionally — so 'mastered' stays true over time, and no one is ground through material they already own.
Respectful of everyone's time
Reviews take 3–5 minutes, never more than two open at once. Learners can snooze — and the system is honest about it. Weekly digests deliver what's due; a manager is looped in only if someone goes dark.
Everyone sells training. We prove it stuck.
